Claudio Calosi
Claudio will be an Assistant Professor at Ca’ Foscari Venice. He’s mainly interested in analytic metaphysics, philosophical logic, and philosophy of physics. The core of his research concerns the application of formal methods to broad philosophical issues.
Samuele Iaquinto
Samuele is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities at the University of Eastern Piedmont, Vercelli, Italy. His research mainly focuses on philosophy of time and modal metaphysics. He’s also interested in philosophical logic.
Giuliano Torrengo
Giuliano Torrengo is an Associate Professor at the Department of philosophy of the University of Milan, he is the founder and coordinator of the Centre for Philosophy of Time, and a member of the LEMMings group. He is part of the Advisory Board of the Centre for Time at the University of Sydney, a Research Associate of Logos at the University of Barcelona, and a Research Fellow at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
His current focus of interest is the connection between temporal experience and the scientific image of time. In his last book (Temporal Experience. The Atomist Dynamic Model, OUP, 2024), he develops an account of temporal experience that aims at being empirically plausible and compatible with our best physical theories.
Alessandro Torza
Alessandro Torza is Associate Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of Parma. Before that he worked in Mexico, Germany, and USA. He is author of Indeterminacy in the World (Cambridge University Press), as well as a number of articles on indeterminacy, modality, and (meta)metaphysics at large that appeared in such venues as Mind, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, and Oxford Studies in Metaphysics.
